Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain language, what information Moroporo Technologies collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it. We try to be honest and clear here, the same way we try to be everywhere else.

1. Who we are
Moroporo Technologies ("Moroporo," "we," "us," or "our") is a business based in Canada. We provide AI-powered diagnostic tools, reports, and related services through our website at www.moroporotech.com, including the AI Job Risk Test and the Resilience Report.
For privacy questions, or to exercise any of your rights, contact us at hello@moroporotech.com. We are the "data controller" responsible for your personal information.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide our services. Specifically:
Information you give us directly
- Your email address, when you request a report or contact us.
- Your assessment answers, the responses you give in the AI Job Risk Test (about your tasks, role, and work), and any details you add about your job title, industry, experience, and responsibilities.
- Payment information, if you purchase a paid report, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages, anything you send us by email or through a contact form.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data, through a privacy-friendly analytics tool (Plausible Analytics), we collect aggregated, non-identifying information such as approximate location (country/region), device type, pages visited, and referring site. This analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.
- Cookies and similar technologies, small files that help the site function and help us understand usage. See Cookies & analytics.
3. Why we collect it (our purposes)
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your assessment answers | To calculate your score and generate your personalized report |
| Your email | To deliver your report and, if you agree, send related updates |
| Payment info | To process your purchase (handled by Stripe) |
| Usage & analytics | To understand how the site is used and improve it |
| Messages you send | To respond to you and provide support |
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your individual assessment answers to train public AI models.
4. Consent
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we rely on your consent to collect, use, and disclose your personal information. By using the AI Job Risk Test and submitting your information, you consent to the uses described in this policy. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights), though doing so may mean we can no longer provide certain services. Where we send marketing emails, we rely on your express opt-in, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
In line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we only send commercial electronic messages to people who have consented to receive them, we clearly identify ourselves, and we honour unsubscribe requests promptly (within 10 business days).
5. Who we share your information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as needed. These include:
- Stripe, payment processing
- Our email/automation tools (e.g. our email delivery and workflow provider), to generate and send your report
- Plausible Analytics, privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics
- Netlify, website hosting and secure form processing (where your test responses and any details you submit are received and stored)
- Our website host, to serve the site
- AI processing providers (e.g. Anthropic), to help generate the written portions of your report (see below)
These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations and may only use your information to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or sale), in which case we'll notify you.
6. AI processing
Our reports are generated with the help of AI. When you request a report, your assessment answers and the job details you provide may be sent to a third-party AI provider (such as Anthropic) to generate the written analysis in your report.
We instruct our AI providers not to retain or train on your data beyond what's needed to return your result. We recommend you avoid entering sensitive personal information in free-text fields.
Automated assessment, and what it is not
Our tools use an automated method to calculate your score and generate guidance based on the answers you provide. This is intended as informational guidance to help you make your own decisions, it is not a decision that we impose on you, and it produces no legal or similarly significant effect on you within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR. Your score is directional, not a prediction, and you remain free to act on it however you choose. If you have questions about how your result was generated, or you'd like a human to review it, contact us at hello@moroporotech.com.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work and to understand how it's used. These include:
- Essential cookies, needed for the site to function.
- Analytics, we use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly. It gives us aggregate usage trends without tracking you across sites or collecting personal information.
You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. As long as we use only cookieless analytics (currently Plausible), there is no individual tracking to opt out of, but you can always block it with browser privacy tools if you prefer. If we ever introduce non-essential or tracking cookies, we will update this policy and provide a way to manage your choices before doing so.
8. Affiliate links
We don't currently use affiliate links or earn commissions from any recommendations in our reports, course and tool suggestions are chosen purely from your results. If we add affiliate partnerships in the future, we'll disclose them clearly here and in the report, any affiliate link's destination site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy, and we'll always rank recommendations by what fits your results, never by what pays us most.
9. Testimonials & feedback
If you send us feedback, a review, or a testimonial, we may ask for your permission to display it (for example, on our website). We'll only publish your name or identifying details with your consent, and you can ask us to remove a published testimonial at any time.
10. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law:
- Assessment answers & reports, retained while we provide the service, and for up to 24 months after your last activity, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.
- Email & contact records, kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and for up to 12 months afterward for record-keeping unless a longer period is required by law.
- Payment records, retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 7 years in Canada).
You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights).
11. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), trusted third-party processors, and limiting access to your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
12. International data transfers
We're based in Canada, and our service providers may be located in the United States or other countries. This means your information may be processed outside your home country, including in jurisdictions with different data-protection laws. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers. By using our services, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in these locations.
13. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that's wrong or out of date
- Delete your information
- Withdraw consent or unsubscribe from emails
- Ask questions about how we handle your data
To exercise any of these, email hello@moroporotech.com. We'll respond within the timeframe required by law. If you're in Canada and aren't satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
14. If you're in the EU or UK (GDPR)
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the rights to data portability, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Our legal bases for processing are: your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), performance of a contract (to deliver the report you request), and our legitimate interests (to operate and improve our services). You can withdraw consent at any time.
15. If you're in California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you're a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 17. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
18. Contact us
This policy is provided in good faith and in plain language. It is not legal advice. For questions about your specific rights, you may wish to consult a lawyer or your local privacy regulator.
